JJ tagged me on Sunday to participate in the Comics Chain Reaction. I thought it was an excellent idea and I have been obsessing about what I would do for a couple days now. For the click-lazy (and since I'm also lazy), here's how JJ explained the challenge, "to celebrate the First Amendment in a web comic. Of course, this whole thing was sparked by the Prophet Muhammad cartoon controversy."
I finally came up with an idea I didn't hate on the bus ride home tonight. It took a lot of thought and a little inspiration from a picture my friend, Smith, gave me a while ago because her office didn't appreciate it on her desk. My comic is a bit less graphic than the original picture, if you can imagine.
So, without further ado, my ode to free speech with a little extra politics tossed in, no extra charge to you:
Update! I totally forgot to pass the tag on. Now I only know one other blogger that hasn't already done this, so Beard Boy, you're it. But, I do frequent some blogs that I wouldn't mind seeing what they'd do with this, so let's see if they play along.
